Here comes a selection of 3D models posted on Thingiverse, which have already been made and are not only interesting for nerds!
Headphone Case
This case for your headphones isn’t the only one posted on Thingiverse, but it has a cool design: The cable and plugs are neatly tidied up and your headphones are protected by the case if you put them in your pocket or if they fall down. Maker “sneakypoo” is especially proud of the clicking sound that is created when closing.

SD Card Holder
This SD card holder comes in a practical Swiss army knife look and can be extended at will. Maker “Dranoweb” recommends ABS as print material, but has also posted a remix of PLA by a Thingiverse fellow member. Otherwise, the model must be enlarged before printing with PLA. Make sure you have 2 x 3mm screws and 2 x 3mm nuts at home to finish the gadget after printing.

Mini Tripods
These colorful mini tripods for cameras and smartphones are ideal for mobile use due to their bag size. For example, they can be printed with ABS, TPU, TPU, PETG or NinjaFlex. But attention: The print job is nothing for beginners!

Smartphone Stand
You can use these key rings as smartphone stands. Maker “Shera” provides you with a selection of animal figures: Dog, bunny, snail, mouse, dragon and turtle. Alternatively, you can attach them directly to your smartphone. You’ll need a flexible filament to make sure the hook doesn’t get stuck in the headphone jack.

Mini Gameboy
All Retropie fans can look forward to this “PiGRRL” 3D model: A Gameboy for the trouser pocket, which is even smaller than the original. Admittedly, for this project you need a little more material than just a filament spool, but if you have patience and a little soldering experience, the effort is worth it!

Smartphone Storage
Many of you will know the problem: Where to put the smartphone when you charge it? Often there is only the possibility of laying it on the floor. But wouldn’t it be more elegant with this tray? This one lies on your charging plug and can be used horizontally or vertically.
